Argus v2026.01 : Now with extended IoT security, Vulnerability detection, and Android security.

Argus comes with exciting updates designed to strengthen security and simplify how teams operate. IoT security takes a major leap forward with new agents, including PRPL OS support, and expanded use cases that improve visibility across connected environments.

 

Threat detection is now more robust with enhanced malware and botnet coverage, helping teams stay ahead of evolving attacks. The platform also features a redesigned Vulnerability Detection module that delivers a more intuitive experience, along with a new Notification Centre that brings all alerts and anomalies into one centralised view.

 

We have significantly enhanced Android security with malicious URL blocking, real-time alerting, and stronger phishing protection.

 

  • IoT Agent Support: Argus now supports a new category of IoT agents, including PRPL OS.

 

Vulnerability Detection: The Vulnerability Detection section has been redesigned with a modern look and optimised navigation. Enhancements span the following areas:

  • New Notification Section: A dedicated notification panel has been introduced with the following sub-sections:
    • Anomaly Monitor
    • Alerts

 

  • Android: Malicious URL Blocking & Alerts: The Android agent is now equipped with a feature for blocking malicious URLs accessed on your phone. Users will also receive instant alerts if a malicious website is detected.

 

  • IoT Use case support Added: Argus now supports the following use cases.
    • IoT Brute Force
    • DNS Poisoning
    • Wi-Fi Death / Evil Twin / Rogue AP (Access Point).

 

  • Expanded Detection Intelligence

New Detection Capabilities Introduced to cover the following threats:

    • GoBruteforcer Botnet Detection & Response
    • Linux “VoidLink” Malware

 

  • Feature Enhancements
    • AI Chatbot Transition: We have upgraded the chatbot from a standard GenAI model to a more autonomous agentic AI framework for improved reasoning and automation.
    • Risk index renamed to Identity Risk index: Now the risk index will have a new name for better understanding and clarity of the functionality.
    • Android Agent: We have improved the security protection against phishing and unsafe domains
